Welcome to the Tom Davis Home Page. In 2006, I lost my beautiful wife Lenore after nearly 60 years of a loving and devoted marriage.  I live alone now in a great condominium in Harford County, just northeast of Baltimore. As a retiree I enjoy reading, fine dining, golf, travel, using my computer, and playing slots in Las Vegas and Atlantic City.

    We had four beautiful children (2 each) and 8 grandchildren (6 boys and 2 girls). Our eldest daughter, an RN, lives in Florida while the others reside in the general area. Our grandchildren are now teens and young adults. Four of the boys have already graduated college, 2 of which earned masters degrees. The other 2 are sophomores, one in College, the other in High School. The 2 girls are seniors, one in College and the other in High School. I love them all dearly and enjoy being with them. Also, there will be 2 new granddaughters this year (2007) by way of marriage to my oldest grandsons.

    I was a fighter/bomber pilot in WWII and Korea and have since retired from the US Air Force. I was shot down prior to D Day by German anti-aircraft batteries and spent 15 months in a POW camp in NE Germany not far from the Polish border. I attended Mt. St. Joseph High School and Loyola College.

Lenore had been a full time mother, teacher and role model for our daughters. She was an outstanding cook and a fastidious homemaker. She was not only my wife but my best friend, partner and confidant. I loved her deeply and will always cherish her memory. She attended Patterson Park High School and was voted "prettiest girl" in her June 1942 graduating class.

On May 19, 1996 we had a great party with approximately 115 friends, neighbors and family members to celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary. We always loved having visitors,"Soooo, come up and see me sometime."
