Welcome to the Tom Davis Home Page. In 2006, I lost my beautiful wife Lenore after nearly 60 years of a loving and devoted marriage  (pictures can be found in “Our Photo Album").  I live alone now in a great condominium in Harford County, just northeast of Baltimore. As a retiree I enjoy reading, fine dining, golf, travel, using my computer, and playing slots in Las Vegas and Atlantic City.

    We had four beautiful children (2 each) and 8 grandchildren (6 boys and 2 girls). Our eldest daughter, an RN, lives in Florida while the others reside in the general area. Our grandchildren range in age from 16 to 28 years old.  Four of the boys have already graduated college, 2 with masters degrees. The other two boys are juniors, one in college and the other in high school. Of the girls, one is a college graduate and the other a college freshman. I love them all dearly and enjoy being with them. There are two lovely new granddaughters (2007) by way of marriage to my two oldest grandsons. “Wedding Pictures” are shown in individual links. 

    My first great granddaughter, Anna Paige Davis, made her entry into the world on May 7, 2008.  Her parents Brad and Heather are ecstatic.  Be sure to see her pictures on the "Anna Paige" tab.    

    On May 19, 1996, we celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary and had a great party with approximately 115 of our family, neighbors and friends in attendance. I was a fighter/bomber pilot during WWII and the Korean War and have since retired from the US Air Force. I was shot down prior to D-Day by German anti/aircraft while on a mission to attack the ball-bearing plant at Schweinfurt, a high priority target, and spent 15 months in Stalag Luft I, a German POW camp located in NE Germany near the Polish border. I attended Mt. St. Joseph High School and Loyola College.

    Lenore had been a full time mother, teacher and role model for our daughters. She was an outstanding cook and fastidious homemaker. She was not only my wife, but a best friend, partner and confidant. I loved her dearly and will always cherish her memory. She attended Patterson Park High School and was voted "prettiest girl" in her June 1942 graduating class.
